Chubby Cattle Philadelphia

Chubby Cattle is a hot pot restaurant featuring a food conveyor belt in Chinatown on a mission to bring hot pot to people of all walks of life.

We helped Chubby Cattle:

  • Conduct market research by defining segments, redesigning the customer feedback form, and analyzing existing customer data.

  • Establishing Chubby Cattle as an event space through partnerships.

  • Attract new customers and businesses, such as providing menu highlights, improving menu layouts, and creating social media content

Fishtown Seafood Company

Fishtown Seafood is a retail seafood shop in Philadelphia. Located in the heart of Fishtown, they offer high-quality, fresh seafood and culinary courses for the vibrant neighboring community.

We helped Fishtown Seafood:

  • Build a quantitative financial model (revenues, expenses, profit margins, growth, etc.) that is presentable and scalable.

  • Review, research, and develop an effective, professional pitch deck for Fishtown Seafood.

  • Develop relevant operational/financial assumptions. We will then quantify the impact of our assumptions by factoring them into Fishtown’s income statement.

 

Journal My Health

Journal My Health is an app that seeks to improve health outcomes for people with chronic illnesses by capturing trends through integrated and self-reported data.

We helped Journal My Health:

  • Research and identify partnership opportunities within the digital health space (i.e. FitBit, Apple Watch) that could create unique synergies.

  • Conduct industry/competitive analysis to recommend potential product positioning. 

  • Conduct customer surveys and interviews with users of other apps, Wharton professors, nurses, etc. to identify key pain points.

 

The Board and Brew

The Board and Brew is a coffee and breakfast shop that offers customers the opportunity to play board games while they dine in. It is located right in between the Drexel and UPenn campus.

We helped Board and Brew:

  • Identify effective marketing strategies to increase its brand awareness among Penn students, ranging from flyers during NSO to club email lists.

  • Discover growth opportunities within its target market and help identify suitable partnership opportunities.

  • Analyze the their current social media and devise improvements to its social media marketing strategies and digital footprint.

Simitri Designs

Simitri Designs is a Philly-based fashion company specializing in unique, handmade accessories.

We helped Simitri Designs:

  • Conduct market research and perform competitive analysis: including analysis of pricing, growth opportunities, and marketing strategies.

  • Generate insights from internal sales data, evaluate potential of a rewards system.

  • Develop B2C marketing strategies, analyze customer profile and opportunities to expand sales through changes in price and offerings.
